 BLM Jarvie Ranch Preservation Day. 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Join the BLM Vernal Field Office at the John Jarvie Ranch in Brown's Park for projects that include applying oil to fences for protection from the elements, applying wax to artifacts for preservation, and cleaning up overgrown vegetation near historic structures.  Voyagers Without Trace.  In 1938, 3 French adventurers came to the American West to make the 1st kayak descent of the Colorado and shoot the adventure in color.  Filmmaker Ian McCluskey retraces the trio's wake back to Europe, uncovering unexpected connections to the French Resistance, the advent of the French Riviera, and the possibilities that free-spirited risk-taking offers to all.  FREE SHRED EVENT!

Prevent Identity Theft by bringing your personal documents to the Crossroads Senior Center from 10-2 p.m. in Roosevelt, to be shredded on site! Lunch is available from 11:30-12:00.  Crossroads Senior Center (Roosevelt) and Gateway Senior Center (Duchesne) are open Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Lunch is served 11:30-noon. Seniors 60 and over its a suggested $3.00 donation, and 60 and under mandatory $5.00. There are several activities that go on at the centers. Come in and enjoy a day at the center.
