Permanent Community Impact Fund (CIB) meeting to be held Thursday, June 13, at the Uintah Conference Center in Vernal.

This meeting is critical to the future of the proposed railway project that UBMedia and many others believe to be desperately needed to strengthen energy production and provided additional jobs.

We encourage all who support this project to take the time to be at this meeting to show support for the project. Supporters of the project are concerned that they may be protestors at the meeting trying the fight against the Basin receiving the funds needed to make this project a reality.

The railway project is one of 26 projects that are set to be reviewed at this meeting. Interested persons may attend and follow the proceedings. These meeting are normally held in Salt Lake City, so this is a good opportunity to come and support the functions of the CIB. Following the CIB meeting, the Seven County Infrastructure Coalition will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the Conference Center. Those interested may also attend this meeting.
